School History
The original building was built in 2009 to serve as a kindergarten center for students on the south side of the district. The building has received four additions (2011, 2013, 2017, 2018), with the most recent allowing for the transition of the school into a full elementary school serving kindergarten through fifth grade. The building occupies a 10-acre site in southern Fargo and has a preferred capacity of 528 and a maximum capacity of 576.
Osgood Elementary School is home to the Osgood Owls. It is named after the Fargo neighborhood it serves: Osgood. The school belongs to the Mustang feeder-system; students move on to Liberty Middle School and Sheyenne High School.
The building’s principals have included: Darren Sheldon (2009 - 2014) and Kristi Toy (2014 - present).
